Lapphyttan is a folk musuem in Norberg where all kind of iron and mine memories are gathered from this city. It is not that this place is the original area for all things that are built up. There is a copy of a furnace from Ombenning and surrounding buildings. To get the blower to function a water pump is build and also a groove line for the water wheel. Now real trials can be made to run the furnace. Every year, up to today, serious trial are made trying to produce pig iron in the reconstructed furnace. The result is not so lucky, which show that the deepest knowledge for this is lost and there is only the theoretical knowledge left.
On the area there is a small mini museum built in the entrance for the foundry place. Furthermore the folk museum people have built up a little village and a railway station house and also an old cargo wagon. To this place also an old car repair workshop is moved and rebuild. Myhrberg was a well known person i the early 1900 in Norberg. The activities for this handles by Norberg Motor Club. They arrange every year a veteran car and mc rally in June. Inside the building they renovate old cars, mc:s and also a Volvo lorry from 1929.
