Kaiser 1947. It was the Kaiser factory which took care of heavy constructions. As beeing this they built Sherman Panzers for the army. After the war they started to build cars like Kaiser and Frazer. Later came the model Henry J.

This is a Chrysler from late 50 th. The car is lowered and is equipped with nice rims.

Buick from early 50th. Buich was the model which had the best controlled production and got a reputation to be a good car. The car was a bit more expensive than other cars. It had for a long time a straight 8 in the expensive variant and also automatic gearbox. Later 53-54 came V8.

Chrysler Imperial. Chrysler tried in vain to differ from GM and Ford with odd bodies. Look here on the separate mounted headlights. Only mounted on 1 or 2 models.

Oldsmobile and Buick were sister cars and sold on different design. The Olds carried the name Oldsmobile 88 for a long time. It's V8 engine came already 1954 and was only equipped with automatic gearbox.

Those who are taking part in a cruising are all talkable. Here grandmother has met her grandchild. The child was shy of course and hide behind in front seat, so it was no picture.

I may remember that in the end of 1950 Chrysler had a modell named 400. Chrysler was famous for its engine with hemisperical combustion room. The same could be monted on Ford side valve 100 ps engine, named Ardun. The Chrysler had torsion springs and became a good road car. The fins were another distinctive feature. This was the time when petrol cost was 0,84 Skr/litres.

Camaro Sting Ray is a difficult car to drive when cruising. Original it had a V-belt driven fan and when low engine rpm with start and stop it became easy to warm. Those who know this has of course mounted an electric fan. I talked to the driver and he with a worried sight locked at the temperatur clock. With these low rpm the generator is not charging either.

This HotRod came after the Sting Ray car. They have often small coolers but on the other hand fully open around.

This not so young couple in their Volvo PV 1947 were a bit shy when I talked to them. They gave a guarantee that everything was 1947. They promised me to take a photo.
