Military mc model 258 A. 250cc, automatc gearbox, 20 ps. This mc was delivered 16/11 1982 to F5 Ljungbyhed. Model 258 A was produced in 3000 copies, years 1979 - 1982. In the beginning of 1960 a new military mc was developed in competition with Monark and Hägglund. An early prototype was equipped with hydrostatic gearbox and got the nickname "oil moped". A variant was equipped with a belt variator. This got of course the nickname "Belt Johan". 258A had a 4 gears automatic gearbox. It worked according the principle with centrifugal coupling and free wheel. This type got the nickname "slungomoped" during the development. Only funny in Swedish.
